
The 2nd EPAL of Agia Paraskevi is a Greek public high school with 3 years of study for the acquisition of a high school diploma and the license to practice a specialization and 1 year of optional apprenticeship (training at the workplace and preparatory courses at the school unit).
The school supports the implementation of actions aimed at encouraging students’ creativity and critical thinking, shaping their behavior as well as improving their skills, thereby contributing to the all-round development of young people’s personality.
Student groups along with their supervising teachers, who coordinate the school programs, have designed and implemented Programs that are supported and financed by the Greek Ministry of Education and the European Union.
The school offers specialization in three major areas:
- FIELD OF STRUCTURAL PROJECTS, BUILT ENVIRONMENT AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
The construction activity was and is one of the main development, economic and business activities in Greece. Many professions are associated with the field of construction and infrastructure projects and serve the construction field. - FIELD OF ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS & AUTOMATION
The sector has the following three specializations:
- Electronic and Computer Systems, Installations, Networks and Telecommunications Technician
- Electrical Systems, Installations and Networks Technician
Automation Technician
- FIELD OF APPLIED ARTS
The field of Applied Arts is the one that is most intertwined with the culture of Greece and confirms the necessity of developing artistic and cultural education. Students have the option of choosing programs and educational paths, to complete their professional goals, through the specializations:
- Graphic Arts
- Conservators of Works of Art – Restoration
- Silversmithing
